Yet another random yet incredibly exciting summer tune. ‘Nicos Gun‘ from Philadelphia and their track ‘Dirty Girl’ crept onto the Hype Machine Popular chart, much to my delight. I guess psychedelic indie is the most accurate description for these kids. With promised of an ‘album coming soon’ you can listen to most of the tracks on their myspace. Dirty Girl sounds like the middle ground between The Virgins and Chromeo. It’s fun and vibrant and I’m dancing. Listen to em. You’ll be dancing in no time.
