If the music is too loud, you're too old.

Oh Hello Mr.Rebranded

The St Patricks Day Festival has been rebranded and I have to admit, the design is beautiful It’s nice to see they have taken a step away from the more generic patriotic shamrock buzz.

Clearly they are trying to appeal to the older, more cultured folk of Ireland. Focusing on the featured music and spectacles with a strong cultural presence, they are obviously making an attempt at covering up the thousands of inebriated teenagers that fill the street annually to perform acts of stumbling, vomiting and inappropriate sexual favours on Grafton Street.

While I’m on the topic….

Paddy’s Day is a day I always try and avoid. In a perfect world, March 17th would never exist. However, this year I will be frequenting in my favourite location of late, Andrews Lane for the Trashed Paddy’s Day Ball.

For once I can enjoy good music in good company without the filth of Dublin pissing me off.
