My love for Yeasayer really is never ending. ‘All Hour Cymbals’ provided a wonderful soundtrack to many a road trip last year so my excitement over their second album, ‘Odd Blood’ arriving in 2010 is difficult to contain… I just came across ‘Amblin Amp‘, one of their new tunes, on the hype machine and am very content. Not quite as psychedelic, yet beautifully alternative.

Starsmith, producer extraordinaire has just unveiled his remix of Lady Gaga’s latest offering, ‘Bad Romance’. Since hearing the first work done with starlet Ellie Goulding covering Passion Pit’s Sleepyhead or any of his mixtapes, I fell for this boys talent. This track is just another reason why. So I’m graduating on the 9th of November. Now for the days proceedings I will be wearing this dress (with tights)….

It’s pretty plain which will hopefully be perfect for under robes… And then for the ball, I had all intentions of buying a fancy, pretty dress. But then I got to Topshop and came across this delish playsuit. I feel with the right jewellery and bag it could work well. Maybe not fancy enough but hopefully formal enough. Trying to think Olivia Palermo…

Following the release of Ellie Goulding’s, ‘Under the Sheets’ video I have been playing the song repeatedly and wishing everything I touched sprung up gold dust. The visual impact of this beautiful video fits Gouldings voice and style perfectly. Not only does she have an amazing video and song but the London starlet was then asked to play on Jools Holland. Starsmith just posted the video on his twitter moments ago. She looks great. She sounds awesome. Her awkward stance is wonderful. Well done Ellie.

Let’s be real kids, it’s getting very cold. These chunky knits, big scarves and brogues are what’s hopefully gonna keep me warm through winter. Just need to dig stuff out of the closet.
